Zoey Wilcox, Rock Hill Radio Program Director
Zoey Wilcox has spent her life moving around Texas but is very much still connected with her west Texas roots. Zoey began to have a passion for music at a very young age. Up until the age of 13 she was a competitive dancer being in every form of dance and performing in everything from The Nutcracker to Thriller. After moving to Dallas she decided to join the band program. Zoey spent 4 years in the band program, 2 playing the clarinet and 2 in the color/ winter guard. In the fall of 2020 Zoey joined the Rock Hill Radio staff and that is where she fell in love with the radio production world. Through hard work and dedication Zoey has been given the positions Program Director of Rock Hill Radio, the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Blue Hawk Yearbook, and the President of the GSA club. Under her direction, RHR has won a gold Marcom award, grown in staff size, and increased the level of approval from student body of the station. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, reading, taking pictures and helping people. Lastly, she also works as a freelance photographer for the Scottish Society of Dallas and the St. Jude Walk/Run of Dallas as well as owns her own photography business entitled Wilcox Photography.
