This year, athletes from various sports signed with schools in multiple divisions including Division I, Division II, NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes).
Signing day marks the next step in a student athlete’s academic journey and sports career. Rock Hill holds ceremonies twice a year, where students announce their choice of school and sign the National Letter of Intent.
Signing day, traditionally held on the first Wednesday of February, was originally intended for football. However, other sports such as baseball and soccer have also been incorporated into the event.

“It’s a really good program, and I look forward to the experience and having more responsibility,” Kruse said. “It felt good on signing day to have my family and my friends, and all my teammates and my coaches. I chose this school because I believe it is the best option for me, and the best next step in my career.”
