Softball beats Lone Star 10-0, advances to area
The varsity softball team was named Bi-District champions after winning 10-0 against Lone Star High School on Friday, April 29. "We are a well-rounded team that compliments each other, and no one is above the rest," softball Coach Leigh Anne Budd said. "Each team member embraces and loves each other for all the different qualities they bring to the table." The team advanced to round two of the playoffs, where they will be playing against Woodrow Wilson on Friday, May 6, at Carrollton Ranchview.
