Prepping for Prom 2025

Rock Hill’s class of 2025, 2026, and staff get ready for this year’s fun time at prom. Diving into the time, money and effort put into preparing for prom from a student’s perspective and the head organizer perspective. All of it combined to have an outcome of a good Bluehawk prom.

In front of her desk, AP World History teacher AJ Lanier holds up a pair of blue sneakers from her extensive collection. “I value pushing kids, challenging them, making them work a little harder and then building confidence through success,” LaNier said. “I want to keep pushing them—that’s something I really enjoy, and I feel like that’s going to align really well with Richland.”
