“First to Four” hits the field. Marking the start of a new chapter, incoming seniors come together to watch the sunrise on the Rock Hill Baseball Field starting at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8th. We are just at the beginning of another school year, and students were given this day to commemorate their last year at Prosper ISD. Those attending the event were given donuts passed around by the organizers’ volunteers. Students were motivated to bring blankets to lay out and snacks to enjoy, though donuts were also provided.
The occasion, “Senior Sunrise,” is a remarkable tradition that is followed throughout the district’s high schools for the benefit of students to build memories with each other. Undeniably, there will be countless amounts of future recognition for seniors during the school year, and this is only the first of many.
