Pink Out pep rally honors breast cancer fighters

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, the annual “Pink Out” pep rally was held on Friday, Oct. 14 to get the student body spirited for the football game later that day. The pep rally was held in the arena during advisory, and students sat in their designated class sections.

Prior to the pep rally, students were encouraged to purchase a luminary for $3 at lunch. All proceeds from the luminaries support the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The varsity football team versed Little Elm High school at the Children’s Health Stadium, where RHHS had their first district shutout of 21-0. Rock Hill’s next game will be on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. against McKinney High School at the McKinney Stadium. Tickets can be purchased on Ticket Spicket.
