‘Meet the Blue Hawks’ honors Fall season athletes

As their routine comes to an end, the cheer team poses facing the cheerful crowd. "Buy into the purpose of your team or program," senior and head cheer captain Nicole Bitner said. "Being fully committed will make your program more successful because everyone will work towards the same goal 100%." Bitner appreciates all who came to support the fall athletes, as it shows the love and spirit of Rock Hill.
On Saturday, Aug. 20, Rock Hill High School introduced their athletes for the 2022-2023 fall season. The third annual Meet The Blue Hawks was held at PISD’s Children’s Health Stadium. Starting at 7 p.m., students and parents alike arrived to see the incoming athletes that will be playing this year.
The sports that were introduced in this event include football, volleyball, swim/dive, cross country, and tennis. Band, color guard and the sports medicine trainers were also highlighted.
All current senior athletes were announced as well as students that deserve recognition for awards they have received in the past.
